Looking back on your research so far into cultural appropriation and the impacts that it can have on your own family or household’s culture, respond to the following questions in your workbook for this week:

1. Explain any issues that you had when you were planning and sketching your item.

2. How were you able to effectively address those issues?

3. What are you most proud of in your sketch?

4. Reflect on your sketch. Were you able to effectively incorporate aspects of this item in your sketch? Were there other aspects that you would have liked to include?

5. If you were to do this again, would you keep the same item or choose another item? If you were to keep this item, why do you believe that it was a good choice? If you were to choose another item, what might you choose and why? 

6. Show your sketch to a member of your household. Were they able to accurately identify your item, print, or symbol that you used as an influence?
